부동산 청약에 대해 영어로 말해보기 - 청약과 아파트 관련한 영어 표현

오늘 전화영어를 하며, 한국의 부동산 청약 시스템에 대하여 설명해보았다.

그러나 우리말로도 어려운 것을 영어로 표현하기가 쉽지 않았다. 오늘 포스팅을 통해 한국의 아파트 청약 시스템에 대하여 간단하게 설명하는 표현을 스스로 만들어보고 내일 전화영어 시간에, 실제로 다시 설명하며 복습을 해보려 한다.

 

매일 매일 이런식으로 전화영어를 이용하면, 영어천재가 바로 나 일 것이다.

 

영어로 먼저 생각하고, 표현을 나름 적어 본 후 번역기를 돌려서 체크해보는 것이 훨씬 더 도움이 된다는 것은 알지만 한국말로도 잘 모르겠어서 아래의 순서로 정리해보려 한다.

한국의 아파트 청약시스템에 대하여 한국말로 정리해보기

요즘 한국인들의 경제적인 목표는 '내 집 장만'인 경우가 많다. 아파트 값은 매우 비싸기 때문이다. 지역별로 편차가 있는데 서울에 일자리가 집중되어 있는 탓이다. 때문에 서울과 그 주변 수도권이라 불리는 지역의 집 값은 특히나 더 비싸다. 

 

치솟는 집 값은 집을 살기 위한 곳이라기 보다는 투기의 대상으로 만든다. 소위 말하는 금수저는 더욱 비싼 집에 살고 그 집을 팔고 다른 집으로 가서 또 그 사이에 얻은 차익으로 더 부자가 된다. 이러한 자산의 금융소득은 근로소득과 비교하여 터무니 없이 높기에 이 현상은 반복된다.

 

금수저가 아닌 일반 직장인들은 아파트 청약이라는 시스템을 이용하여 집을 구할 기회가 생긴다. 아파트를 처음 분양할 때의 금액과 그 주변 아파트의 시세가 2배나 차이나는 곳이 있어 경쟁률은 높을 수 밖에 없다. 때문에 아파트 청약 당첨은 '로또 당첨'과 같다. 

 

부동산 청약은 청약통장이 있고 자격이 되는 누구나 국토교통부 산하의 공기업의 웹사이트를 통해 할 수 있다. 아파트에 따라 다르지만, 보통 신혼부부나 무주택자가 그 대상이 된다. 신청 후 무작위로 추첨이 진행되고, 발표가 되면 해당 집을 구매할 자격이 주어진다. 만약에 포기하면, 기회는 그 다음 순위 사람에게 넘어가게 된다. 

 

 마지막 문단 빼고 사실 필요없는 말인데 투머치토커라 생각 없이 너무 길게 쓰게 되었다. 내가 이걸 영어로 쓸 수 있을까.. 시도해본다.

부동산 청약이라 하면, 청약통장이 있고 자격이 되는 누구나 국토교통부 산하의 공기업의 웹사이트를 통해 할 수 있다.
What is an apartment application? Anybody who have an apartment application deposit can apply through website of public office under Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

청약에 따라 다르지만, 보통 신혼부부나 무주택자가 그 대상이 된다.

신청 후 무작위로 추첨이 진행되고, 발표가 되면 해당 집을 구매할 자격이 주어진다.
